Training instructor Module 1 (TMD) + Module 2 (CCMC)
A two-part program for physiotherapists and manual therapists who want to learn in a systematic and practical way how to work with patients with temporomandibular joint disorders (TMD), facial and neck pain, and complex complaints within the head-cervical-shoulder complex.
This package combines a solid clinical foundation of TMD (Module 1) with the advanced, functional approach of CCMC (Module 2). This will not only teach you effective diagnosis and treatment of TMD, but also help you understand how disorders of the cervical spine, posture, and respiratory system impact the entire system.
What does the package include?
Module 1 – TMD: Diagnosis and Treatment of Temporomandibular Joint Disorders
- current scientific basis for pain and dysfunction in the craniomandibular region,
- recognizing the symptoms of TMD and related ailments (migraines, tension headaches, neck pain, dysfunctions of the head-cervical-shoulder complex),
- identifying red flags and serious medical problems,
- practical assessment, diagnosis and recognition of the most common clinical patterns of TMD,
- planning and conducting therapy for TMD and co-occurring diseases,
- safe and effective treatment strategies for patients with orofacial pain – both adults and children.
Module 2 – CCMC ADVANCED: neck, TMD, bruxism and post-traumatic dysfunctions
- understanding the 4-unit CCMC model and using it in practical assessment,
- analysis of movement and function in the head-neck-jaw area, taking into account posture and breathing,
- targeted functional examination of the upper cervical spine and temporomandibular joint,
- recognition of typical neck, jaw and headache syndromes,
- palpation examination of the soft tissues of the neck and structures related to the temporomandibular joint,
- manual techniques in the upper cervical and mandibular regions as part of an integrated procedure,
- motor re-education and sensorimotor control training after injuries (e.g. whiplash),
- integration of breathing, posture and jaw position into a coherent therapy program,
- combining manual and exercise strategies into a complete sequence: assessment → plan → therapy → monitoring of effects.
What will you gain by choosing the package?
- A coherent development path – from detailed work with TMD to advanced integration of the neck, jaw, posture and breathing.
- Increased clinical confidence – you will learn to both diagnose and treat complex cases of orofacial, cervical and post-traumatic pain.
- Very high level of practice – both modules are dominated by practical exercises that you can immediately implement in your office.
- Real results for patients – better chewing, speech, and swallowing function, reduced pain, and improved quality of life for patients with chronic and complex conditions.
- The Module 1 + Module 2 package is the perfect solution for therapists who want to truly specialize in the area of TMD, neck pain and complex cephalocervical disorders – based on modern, scientifically established and practical approach.

Clinical expert in the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal and orofacial pain
Dr Tzvika Greenbaum
Dr. Tzvika Greenbaum is a leading physiotherapist specializing in the rehabilitation of patients with cervical-cranio-mandibular disorders. He holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) from the University of Haifa, a Master of Science in Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia, and a Doctor of Physiotherapy from Tel Aviv University.

He completed two postdoctoral fellowships: at the Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium, where he studied muscle performance during mouth opening, and at Ben-Gurion University, where he conducted research on the functioning of the cervicocranial-mandibular system in individuals with obstructive sleep apnea. He is a senior lecturer at Ben-Gurion University, a lecturer at Tel Aviv University, and maintains a clinical practice at Herzliya Medical Center.
Dr. Greenbaum's research focuses on the relationship between musculoskeletal function and speech, swallowing, and voice disorders, as well as innovative treatments for headaches and orofacial pain. He founded the Cervico-Cranio-Mandibular Academy (CCMA) to integrate clinical practice with research. He is also an internationally recognized dry needling instructor. His award-winning research has been published in leading scientific journals, and he lectures regularly worldwide.
